Peru makes an incredible destination for couples, groups of friends, and families with adolescents. With the naturally mountainous landscape and pedestrian friendly paths everywhere, this is the place to get active! Prepare to be amazed by the quality and flavor of the cuisine, enthralled with the colorful atmosphere and culture, and inspired by the breathtaking views and longstanding history. This trip has everything: comfort, convenience, authenticity, impeccable service, and so much more.

Trip Duration:

10 days

Highlights:

  • City of Lima - This oceanfront city does not disappoint with its parks, cuisine, history, and culture.

  • Cusco - At 11,000 feet, Cusco makes a fantastic base to acclimate to the altitude. Best meals (plural!) of my life were here.

  • Ollantaytambo - Halfway between Cusco and Machu Picchu, this is the best location to base yourself for a visit to the infamous ruins. While the town at the ruins is definitely geared toward tourists, it’s cute and fun. But my favorite accommodations are outside the area.

  • Incan Ruins - Puca Pucara; Tambamachay; the Sacred Valley including Pisac, Urubamba, Ollantaytambo; Macchu Picchu; and so much more!

  • Private Drivers and Guides - A personalized experience with your own private guide makes a great trip phenomenal. No one rushes you for pictures, you can ask as many or as few questions as you’d like, and your plans can change without issue.
